Homework Policy
My policy on homework is that every student is responsible for their own grade, and assigned homework has to be completed on time. Students that chose not to complete their homework or turn their homework in late will lose points towards their overall grade. If a student does not turn in their homework assignment they will be referred to the catch-up-cafe during lunch. If this becomes a reoccurring theme I will contact the parents or guardians of the student in effort to fix the issue.
It is not my goal to send students home with hours of homework every night. I think that it is very important for students to spend time with family, be involved in sports, clubs and other activities outside of school. If my students work hard in class they will be able to get most of their assignments completed before they leave to go home. If students are not focused on their assignments during class then they will have to be responsible and finish it outside of school. The homework can always be found through the link above or on the Plymouth website.
